Return to the Root: A Soul's Journey Back Home

Welcome, Seeker. You’ve wandered far to find your way here.

You who tremble in crowds. You who have felt adrift in your own skin. You who search for home not on a map, but in the marrow of your bones — this is your remembering.

The Root is not a concept. It is not a color, a chant, or a spinning wheel. The Root is a mother’s hum, passed through generations. It is the drumbeat of the Earth beneath your soles. It is the voice of your grandmother calling your name before you even arrived.

When your safety was shaken, the Root felt it. When your body tensed, the Root braced with you. When you felt abandoned, the Root folded in, burying its wisdom deep in the soil of your being.

But now, you are here. And the Earth — patient, ancient — never left.

You belong. Not because you’ve earned it. Not because you’ve done the healing. You belong because you exist. Because your blood remembers the path back to wholeness.

To awaken the Root is to stop running. It is to let your bare feet kiss the ground and know it won’t pull away. It is to breathe into your belly and hear a language older than words whisper: “You are held.”

Grief may rise here. Old fears. Generational echoes. But they do not mean you are broken. They are simply the sound of your roots stretching through stone, seeking water.

This is sacred work — not to become, but to return.

💬 Reflection Prompt:

Close your eyes and ask yourself: Where in my life have I been told I do not belong? Now whisper this in response: “I claim my place here. I am of the Earth. I belong.”
